✂️ Chop it like it’s hot ☀️ If you’re looking for the BEST salon, with the BEST hair artist and the most awesome owner make an appointment @salonpurple with @shapeshifter_hair or @terrywhiddon. They’re bitchin’ and it’s a bummer if you don’t do yourself that fav. ❤️ This was the most pleasant salon experience I’ve ever had. @shapeshifter_hair was extremely communicative, thorough, friendly and extremely patient with me and my anxiousness and my big choice today. The atmosphere is great and I loved the way Terry was with his clients as well. I’m glad I finally found a place with people I can trust.

shapeshifter_hair did my cut and color, and was so sweet the whole 8 hours it took lol. she’s amazing at what she does, and I highly recommend her for any looking for a hairstylist.

Terry is absolutely phenomenal at hair. I was a little skeptical about this salon but I was so thrilled with experience. He greets you so nicely and creates a smooth and comfortable atmosphere. My hair has never looked and felt better. If you have curly hair and have been scared to go get it cut I definitely recommend terry he is very knowledgeable.

The atmosphere is relaxed, super chill, with a creative vibe. Terry did my hair (root touch-up, a bit of corrective coloring, quick cut, and blow-dry), and he did an awesome job. Prior to service, he took the time to discuss my hair goals, look at color swatches, make sure we were on the same page, and then we decided on a plan. The results were great, made me look younger, and made my hair look healthier and more stylish. The pricing was fairly standard, if not a bit on the low end; definitely worth the results. I will definitely be back!

I love this place! I had given up on letting anyone cut and color my hair after negative experiences at other salons, but after I saw how well my mom's hair had turned out and seeing how knowledgeable Terry is about curly hair, I decided to schedule an appointment. I'm so happy I did because my hair has not looked or felt this good in years! Terry did an amazing job and my hair feels so much better now. He even developed his own hair care product line, Loida Beauty, and everything works and smells great! I especially love the curl defining cream and curl defining gel. I've always had a difficult time finding products that make my hair feel healthy and soft without weighing it down, so I'm really excited that these products work so well! Absolutely coming back!!!

Absolutely LOVE how my hair turned out!! its been a week or two and usually my hair wouldnt look as curly or even look like i got a cut. I got a big chop, and have been wanting to for a long time but no hairstylist would listen or want to commit.. Terry listened and understood!! Ive never gotten so many compliments on my hair before, he did an amazing job!!! Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend coming here!! You’ll feel understood about what you want and what youre going for and do not be afraid to ask for adjustments! They care about you and your hair. I love my hair so much! I’m usually a picky person when it comes to hair stylist but i think ive found my place :) Thank you so much Terry for the curly cut i absolutely LOVE it!! :D

My daughter booked with Shapeshifter_hair. We traveled 5 hrs to see her and was not disappointed at all. She did amazing is an understatement. My daughter got a cut, color and style. She is the sweetest and most patient stylist I've met. She is so creative and my daughter has never been more happy with her hair. Also, Terry, did a quick cut for me while my daughter was getting her hair done. I let him choose a style for me and was so happy with it. So if you ever need any color or cut services, this place will not disappoint.
